Thank you so much for your guesses on Instagram and Facebook!
Modern medicine is amazing! Thanks to early genetic testing done around week 11, we found out the gender VERY early. Of course, we told our families first and then we told everyone else as the weeks have gone by so it seems only fair that I finally spill the beans on the blog!
We got LOTS of great photos of Baby Murray! Baby Murray wasn’t too shy except when the ultrasound technician was trying to take photos of their heart, which basically means I was in weird positions trying to get them to move away from my hips which I know Baby Murray loves to curl up in because I can feel it already and they are only just under a pound! Baby Murray was measuring at 425 grams or 15 ounces, and so far they are going to be a shorty but that isn’t a surprise considering I’m barely 5’0!
Anyways, without further ado here’s a photo of Baby Murray, looking WAY more like a baby these days!
We are SO excited to welcome a baby GIRL to our family!
The first time the ultrasound tech turned the tv on for us to see Baby Murray we got a frontal view of her little face! It was actually sorta freaky but really cool too! The side profile of Baby Murray makes me suspect that she might have a Murray nose, but we will have to wait to see if I’m right. We saw her with her legs up in the air ALL THE TIME. Makes me think she’ll be a gymnast or Irish dancer.
We are over-the-moon excited about a little girl! I will admit, I was 100% shocked when I heard girl because I was convinced she was a boy. We’ve started calling her by name thanks to our quick naming strategy and we’ve told our family her name and some special friends, but other than that we’ll be keeping it under wraps until she’s born.
I am ridiculously excited to get to raise a fierce lady who will grow up to be whatever she dreams of being!
So tell me, what was did you think Baby Murray was going to be? If you have kids were you right or wrong about the sex when you were pregnant? What are your guesses for her name?
