Monthly Goals

June 2017/May Recap

A huge shoutout to my BFF Heather – it’s her 30th birthday today! We’re SO close to June so I thought I’d tell you how I did with my monthly goals. This month I focused a LOT on myself. Doing fun activities like starting archery classes yesterday, going back to my physiotherapy AND starting an exercise regimine that will hopefully keep me from feeling like I’m an old person.

Let’s see how I did in May!

May Goals

Marriage

  • Read Amberly’s Date Night ebook.
  • Plan 1 date night out.
  • Plan 1 date night at home.

Mind

  • Read two books from my A-Z book challenge.

Body

  • Drink one glass of water each morning after waking.
  • Take my vitamins daily.
  • Take my asthma inhalers every day.
  • Wear moisturizer daily.

Soul

  • Spend 10 minutes in silence each morning.
  • Take a nature walk once a week.

Home

  • Declutter the linen closet.
  • Make a master list of what’s stored in our food storage.
  • Clean breakfast dishes every day before work.
  • Hang up work clothing each morning and evening.

Random Acts of Kindness

  • Buy coffee for coworkers.
  • Pick up any trash I see on my way to work.
  • Send a care package to a friend.
  • Send at least 2 postcards to friends.

June Goals

Marriage

  • Plan 2 date nights out.
  • Plan 2 date nights at home.
  • Have 4 technology-free nights.

Mind

  • Listen to classical music in the morning.
  • Complete the newspaper sudoku on my commute.

Body

  • Drink one glass of water each morning after waking.
  • Do pilates videos after work – 3x a week.
  • Do yoga videos in the morning – 2x a week.
  • Do my physio exercises – 2x a day.

Soul

  • Take a walk in Stanley Park.
  • Take a nature walk in Central Park.

Home

  • Declutter the linen closet.
  • Make a master list of what’s in our food storage.

Random Acts of Kindness

  • Buy coffee for coworkers.
  • Send a care package to a friend.
  • Send out 4 postcards to friends.

  1. I really like your goal categories! My best friend started a challenge for her 30th birthday to do 30 random acts of kindness. I’m not sure if she’s finished them all or not, since she mostly just posted about them in the week of her birthday.

    1. I love the idea of 30 random acts of kindness! I wanted to do something similar for my birthday but my husband had different plans for my birthday that I didn’t know about.
