Title: I’ve Got You Under My Skin
Premise:Laurie Moran’s husband was murdered in front of her then 3-year-old son Timmy. Five years later his piercing blue eyes still haunt Timmy’s dreams.
Now Laurie is dealing with murder again, this time as the producer of a true-crime, cold-case television show. The series will launch with the twenty-year-old unsolved murder of Betsy Powell. Betsy, a socialite, was found suffocated in her bed after a graduation gala that celebrated her daughter’s graduation. Reopening the case and filming at the scene of the crime with the cooperation of the graduates that night, Laurie is sure to have a hit on her hands. But when the estranged friends begin filming, it becomes clear each is hiding secrets.
And a pair of blue eyes is watching events unfold, too…
My Thoughts:If you’re a fan of Mary Higgins Clark – this will be a great book. It’s pure classic Mary Higgins Clark, that being said, I feel like if you’ve read all of her books you will be able to solve the mystery and you’ll most likely find the characters exactly like all of her other characters. If you want a predictable mystery with very little gore and guts you will enjoy this book, if you want great characters and character development you should probably skip this book.
My Rating: 3/5
