Half Life Anniversary

half-life-anniversary-just-hurrayed

The Mister and I are celebrating an awesome milestone! As most of you know, we just celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary last month, which is great, amazing even. But, just a month later, I’m writing about an even BIGGER milestone in our relationship. At this very moment(okay, okay, I guess not this very moment since I’m writing this a week in advance!), we’ve been together for HALF OF OUR LIVES!

It may seem ridiculous or petty to celebrate a milestone like this but I’m all for celebrating and this is a great milestone that LOTS of people don’t ever get to have. Let’s put 15 years in perspective. That’s 180 months or 5475 days or 131 400 hours or 7,884,000 minutes. Sounds a lot better when you think about it that way doesn’t it? We’ve been through a TON in 15 years: surgeries, long distance relationship, lost jobs, a cross-country move, college and everything in between. It’s an insane anniversary, but we’re not exceptional. We make it work because we wouldn’t want it any other way.

I can’t wait to see what the next 15 years have in store for us!

  1. Wow! That’s so cool! I had no idea you two had been together that long! We can celebrate this in 6 years and I thought we’d been together forever (10 years). lol
