Thankful Thursday: Marriage

I’m so happy to be co-hosting Thankful Thursday with Charlene!

Every day as my day goes by I like to make a mental list of all the things I’m thankful for. Doing that allows me to see all the little and big things in my life that are positive. With less than a week before our second wedding anniversary, my thankful list has been focused on my wonderful husband and our marriage.

I’m thankful that I get to go through life with The Mister. Marriage to me means that I have someone who cheers me on, annoys me like crazy, makes me laugh, makes me think, wipes away my tears, pushes me out of my comfort zone and is a confidante and I wouldn’t want to do marriage with anyone else.

I’m thankful that we met SO young, that we’ve had so many shared experiences, good and bad and that we get to go through life, experiencing things together!

I’m thankful that we have differences that teach us to become better people and I’m thankful for the similarities so that we have something to always keep us together.

So tell me, what are you thankful for today? Link up below!

  1. I’m thankful for my husband, too. I’ve known him since I was 15.
Rebecca Jo from Knit by God’s Hand gave me the idea to buy an inexpensive planner and jot down one thing I love or am thankful about K each day, all year. I keep it on my desk at work and write in it every day and plan to give it to him on New Years Eve 🙂

  2. I love this! I totally agree that meeting your spouse young is a blessing. I’ve known my husband since 7th grade and we dated since 11th grade. We grew up and became adults together. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
