Celebrating 30

This past weekend I celebrated my birthday with friends on the Sunshine Coast. It was an amazing weekend full of sunshine, good friends and playing in the ocean. Unfortunately my phone is being weird so there aren’t as many photos as I would like but let’s move on.

On Saturday morning, The Mister and I took the ferry with good friends Chris and Lauren to the Sunshine Coast. We were to meet up with our friends Braden and Jen who so graciously invited us out along with 6 other friends!

When we made it to the Sunshine Coast our first stop was to Persephone Brewing Co. for some food and fun.

Persephone Brewing Co., even had chickens!

After lunch we got ready to head to the ocean which is just across the street from Braden and Jen’s apartment. We spent a couple of hours at the ocean and then went back to Braden and Jen’s to hang out.

After dinner which included an awesome gluten-free chocolate cake all 10 of us went for a walk on the beach and the neighborhood.

When dinner was over, we sat on their balcony talking and laughing while roasting marshmallows and making s’mores.

The night quickly came and we went to bed. When we woke up, Braden and Jen put out an awesome breakfast of gluten-free waffles, yogurt, bagels and cream cheese, fruit and anything else we wanted.

After breakfast we made our way back to the ferry and quickly our weekend came to an end.

So tell me, how was your weekend? Do you have any plans for this coming weekend?
