Feels Like Home Favourites – Favourite Season

Yahoo! It’s the second Feels Like Home Favourites linkup today!

Today’s topic is all about my favourite season.

Here in Toronto, I am one of the very few people who love December. For me, winter is my favourite season! The snow starts to fall and blankets the bland and beige city into a wonderful season that brightens the city up along with all the lights and decorations that go along with the end of the year celebrations.

A huge display in one of the many towers of Toronto. The photo doesn’t do it justice; it was spectacular!

Thankfully my commute to work was easy after the city was blanketed with snow!

All of my favourite things happen in winter: Christmas with our families, volunteering, skiing, having an excuse to read all day on Saturday.

So tell me, what is your favourite season where you live and why?

The Rules

To participate in this linkup, simply write your own blog post following our topic for the month and add your link (your actual post, not your homepage) to the linkup below. 1. Late autumn is my favourite time of year at home. When the air become crisp and there’s a faint hint of burning leaves or log fires, and you begin to not feel as guilty for just curling up together on the sofa and hibernating (which I always feel I can’t do the same in Spring and summer!) Plus, our home town is stunning in autumn colours 😀
