I told you about the worst pieces of marriage advice I’ve heard now I’m throwing some positivity into the mix with great pieces of marriage advice I’ve heard. Even after 14 years, we’re trying to keep our relationship awesome so I love hearing any good advice people have for me!

1. Learn how to agree to disagree
It’s okay to have differences and it’s okay to disagree; it keeps things interesting, just keep it respectful!

2. Never stop dating your spouse
I think we ALL know I’m a huge fan of dating The Mister. Having date nights shows you’ve made your relationship a top priority which is ALWAYS a good thing to keep it awesome.

3. Create a clear vision of your shared future together
Marriage is about two people sharing a future together, so you better have a clear vision of that shared future.

4. Share everything with each other
Make your spouse your biggest confidante. Great marriages have no secrets.

5. Take time for yourself
Being successful as a couple will only work if each of you is strong and fulfilled as an individual.

    1. I know right? After hearing these, The Mister and I had great discussions on how to implement them to make it work for us, and it’s been wonderful since implementing.
