If you’re on a gluten-free diet there’s a good chance you are tired of having to call ahead and ask about the menu, or interrogating waiters when you sit down with your friends and family. Thankfully, here in Toronto there is a 100% gluten-free restaurant called The Kensington Cornerstone.
The restaurant features a large patio and a great casual atmosphere. The menu features things such as chicken wings, burgers, sandwiches, and fish and chips.
My first visit to Kensington Cornerstone was with friends to celebrate my 28th birthday last year. The Mister had a pulled pork sandwich and I had the grilled cheese on cheese bread. It was the one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I’d ever had with the softest cheese bread ever and the pulled pork was superb with a hint of smokey goodness!
I didn’t get to go during the month of my first Celiacaversary, so The Mister and I went on Sunday evening. It never disappoints. The chicken wings were amazing, with the best sauce I’ve ever had. It was sweet and spicy and smoky. The turkey burger, coleslaw and fries was absolute perfection!
