Gluten Free Living

Happy 1st Celiac-aversary to Me!

For some people, celebrating the day or month that they no longer could eat gluten isn’t something they want to remember, but for me, I want to celebrate it. For the first time in at least 3 or 4 years, I don’t have to do Pepto shots before and after I eat something, I no longer have to worry about mapping and finding where all the bathrooms are in my vicinity and lastly  I am FINALLY enjoying time with my friends and family again (because let’s be honest friends and family always go best with FOOD!). I feel so amazing after feeling just so bad.

Here’s how I’ve decided to celebrate:

1. Host a tea party – not entirely gluten free, but I wanted an excuse to hang out with friends and eat the BEST gluten free cupcakes in Toronto.
2. Read this book and this book, which are written by awesome gluten free bloggers.
3. Have dinner at The Kensington Cornerstone, which is an awesome, entirely gluten free restaurant.
4. Share my Celiac story.
5. Eat at least 4 new-to-me gluten free products.

Without further ado, here’s some funny memes for you to enjoy:
