Farmers Market

On Saturdays, The Mister and I wake at around 5 a.m., to head to the farmers market at St. Lawrence Market North. The North Market is filled with local farmers selling all things organic and local. The North Market is a great location to get your weekly fruits and vegetables, but also honey, soap, tarts, eggs, bread and a whole lot more. It’s part of our philosophy of buying local.

We shop here specifically for the local produce, meat and eggs. Occasionally we splurge and pick up honey, butter tarts(for the Mister!) and gluten-free lemon blueberry loaf for me. Our recent “finds” have been Ambrosia apples and a beautiful Christmas wreath.
